A Year in The UK

........Last year when I just arrived in the UK, I felt so excited, motivated and hoped that life will be going as smooth as I wanted - but, it wasn't - I don't know whether it's cos of ME or cos of being away from my family?

Since I've finished my high school at the age of 17, I had already left home, not that kind of 'left' but away from my family - I have always been passionate about travelling and exploring other countries. I love culture, languages and learning new things...

When I first came here I worked in Next retail store, in Walton-on–Thames which is about 25 minutes walk from where I lived. Being a student and working at the same time isn’t so idealistic but with good time management and discipline it just might work out but, not for me. I guess I am just not good with ‘timetable’ – I think I always prefer just to do things spontaneously not so 'good' I know but I hope I'll learn as time goes by.

After working with 'them' for almost 10 months then I resigned – Not because of the wages or the employees but cos of lack of management and leadership skills.

Time moves so quickly without me realising that I have been in the UK for a year now - Lot of things have happened. Some are good and some are bad - I feel I haven't achieved what I really want just yet..

Maybe, it’s time to move on and see what the future will bring... Maybe it is time for me to be more organised and motivated? Whatever it is..I am still on my quest.....
